We are a body of believers who strive to know and serve the Lord better. We share a warm and encouraging fellowship with each other as family members in Christ. Currently, we have about 70 members who represent people from different walks of life and diverse cultural backgrounds. We invite you to join us at one of our meeting times or special events!
Regular Meeting Times
Sunday
10:00 AM Bible Study (Classes for adults and children of all ages)
11:00 AM Worship Service
6:30 PM Evening Worship (except on the 1st and 5th Sundays of the month)

Shawn Redding was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. He was introduced to the gospel in 1983 and put on Christ through baptism that same year on Sept 22. He met his wife Donna in 1988 and they were married March 12th 1989 shortly after her baptism. Their son and daughter, Chad and Jolene were also baptized into the Lord’s Church in their early teens. The Reddings have two cherished grandchildren Joshua and Shane. The family recently rejoiced in Joshua’s decision to be baptized in the summer of 08.
In 1998 Shawn entered into the intern program with the Edmonton church of Christ were he studied the Bible fulltime through the Sunset International Bible Institute for 3 years. After completing the program Shawn and Donna successfully applied to serve as missionaries in Lithuania under the oversight of the Waterview church of Christ in Richardson, Texas.
Following their 3 years in Lithuania Shawn and Donna returned to Canada to seek out a congregation in which to serve. In 2004 the Barrie church of Christ extended an invitation for Shawn and Donna to come and join the work here in Barrie Ontario.
It is here in Barrie where Shawn and Donna choose to continue to work in the further advancement of Lord’s Kingdom. |

Karl Klemm was born and raised in North Bay, ON where he was baptised at the age of 13. He met his wife, Debbie, while training with the military in Kingston. They were married in 1989 and are the proud parents of two teenage boys (Ryan and Mitchell.) Karl and his wife moved to Barrie in 1995 due to his job and have worshipped with and served the church since then. Hobbies include audio and video editing, playing cards, and generally anything to do with the Mac. Karl currently works for the Toronto Police Service as a senior technician in their Radio and Electronics Unit. |
